Exciting News: My Next Book is Almost Here!

I’m thrilled to share that I’m in the final stages of completing my next book! This one is especially close to my heart because it’s designed to help aspiring and new authors navigate the sometimes overwhelming world of self-publishing.

The book, titled “The KDP EFFECT: Mastering the Steps to Best Seller Success,” is an educational guide that takes readers through the entire Amazon KDP publishing process from start to finish. Having gone through the journey myself, I realized just how valuable a comprehensive, step-by-step guide could be for authors trying to turn their dreams into reality.

I’m currently wrapping up the final edits, combing through every detail to ensure the book is as polished and helpful as possible before sharing it with the world. If you’ve ever self-published—or even considered it—you know there’s a lot to double-check and refine before hitting “publish.”

This book covers it all, from setting up your KDP account to formatting, publishing, and marketing your work. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to streamline your next project, “The KDP EFFECT” is packed with actionable insights and tips to help you achieve success.

The plan is to have it ready and available on Amazon worldwide in the next few days. So, keep your ears and eyes open—I can’t wait for you to dive in and take the next step in your author journey!

Stay tuned, and thank you for being part of this exciting ride!

  • True Leaders

    True Leaders

“Leaders are not born; they are shaped by life’s trials, lessons, and experiences. True leaders emerge through perseverance, humility, and the wisdom gained from their journey. They never forget where they started and understand that leadership is earned, not demanded.

The best leaders inspire by example—they’re the ones who roll up their sleeves and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with their team, no matter the challenge. They treat everyone, regardless of title or status, with respect and dignity. They lift others up, offering help when needed, guidance when sought, and encouragement when times are tough.

True leaders are trustworthy, honest, and fair. Their actions build a foundation of respect, and they never take for granted the contributions of their team. They recognize that while they may have had the vision, it’s the collective effort of their people that turns that vision into reality. Gratitude and appreciation flow naturally from them, reminding everyone that success is a shared journey.

True leadership isn’t about power or position—it’s about character, compassion, and the courage to serve others selflessly. Leaders are forged, not born, through the choices they make and the impact they leave behind.”

  • Extend Your Hand In Kindness

    Extend Your Hand In Kindness

    Extended hands image

In every heart, a story lies untold, A journey, a struggle, a path to unfold. With kindness and fairness, let’s meet each day, For you never know the burdens in others’ way.

A neighbor may stumble, knocked off their feet, Extend your hand, make their world sweet. Remember, their struggles are mirrors to yours, Just different chapters, behind different doors.

In this changing world, so self-centered and cold, We must cherish the values we’ve always been told. Is this the world we desire, where selfishness reigns? Or one where compassion alleviates pains?

Teach our children to see beyond their own view, To offer a hand, to help and renew. For it will be a sad day, devoid of hope’s light, When no one is willing to help in the night.

So let’s live with kindness, with hearts open wide, And make the world better, with love as our guide. For treating others fairly, with understanding and care, Creates a world where all burdens we share.

Break Free From Those Chains That Hold You.

I stood by you, ready to fight the demons within, Caring deeply, despite your disbelief in anyone. You are not guilty for what they did to you, I only wanted to help you break free from the chains that have held you for so long, preventing you from achieving your dreams.

Perhaps I wasn’t the right one to stand by your side, but know that I tried, giving every last drop of my strength. I saw the fighter within you, the strength to break those chains and finally live the life you’ve always deserved.

  • A Pawn In His Game Of Chest

A Pawn In His Game Of Chest

I was just a pawn in his game of chess, A piece to be moved, discarded, no less, Spent and broken, my heart laid bare, His true colors showed, revealing the snare.

He took what he could, left nothing behind, A useless soul, abandoned, confined, On the side of the road, used up and torn, Left to mourn, in a world forlorn.

A stupid fool, ensnared by a con, By a heartless man, with no soul to draw on, He won his treasures, claimed his deceit, Leaving me shattered, alone in defeat.

No beating heart, no flicker of soul, He played his game, exacted his toll, And here I stand, wiping tears of pain, A reminder of loss, in a conman’s reign.

But from these ashes, I’ll rise once more, Stronger and wiser, my spirit will soar, For though he won, his victory’s hollow, A life without love, is a fate hard to swallow.

And I, a pawn no longer defined, Will find my path, my peace of mind, For even in pain, a lesson is learned, A soul can rebuild, no longer spurned.

  • Echoes Of Two Hearts Weaved Together As One.

Echoes Of Two Hearts Weaved Together As One.

    two hearts joining together
    Bonds Of Transparency

In the quiet morning light, we meet, Two souls converging, incomplete. Love’s first whispers, soft and sweet, In honesty, our hearts compete.

We build our world on words we share, Dreams and fears laid open, bare. Trust, a fragile, tender thread, Woven through the words we’ve said.

In laughter’s song and sorrow’s tear, We find our way, we draw near. Yet silence, like a creeping vine, Can choke the bond we design.

Secrets whispered in the night, Shadows cast in soft moonlight. Truth unspoken, left to die, Breeds distrust and silent sighs.

So let our voices rise and sing, Of every joy and suffering. For in the open, hearts align, And trust, like sunlight, will shine.

No fortress built of steel or stone, Can guard a love left all alone. But with each truth, confessed, revealed, Our bond is strong, our wounds are healed.

In every word, a piece of soul, In honesty, we find our whole. For love, in light, can only thrive, When trust and truth are kept alive.

So let us vow, in days to come, To speak our hearts, to not succumb. For in the echoes of our voice, We find in love, a lasting choice.

    Adrian’s Fight

In the journey of life, we face twists and turns,

Ups and downs, lessons to learn.

It’s a miracle we survive, pushing through the strife,

Choosing to keep going, embracing this life.

Asked how I continue after losing my child,

To cancer’s cruel grasp, my spirit reviled.

I had two choices, to crumble or stand tall,

To give up or rise after the fall.

What would my son want, I often ponder,

To see me give up, or to fight and wander?

He was a fighter, never backing down,

He battled until he was worn, until he was bound.

So I’ll fight for him, carry on his fight,

With every breath, with all my might.

I’ll stand back up, no matter the cost,

For my son, for love, for what I’ve lost.

So as I walk this path, with strength and grace,

I honor his memory, I’ll keep the pace.

For in every struggle, every test we face,

It’s love that guides us, with unwavering grace.

  • Peace In The Wind

    Peace In The Wind

    www.whispersofthesoul.org

As dawn breaks over the marina’s still embrace, I set sail, leaving behind the shore’s restless pace. The Gulf’s vast expanse calls, its open waters wide, Waves kiss the boat’s edge, as I raise sails with pride.

The wind’s gentle whisper fills the canvas high, Bringing solace, lifting spirits to the sky. In this tranquil dance, I find my sweet release, Escaping town’s chaos, here I discover peace.

Pelicans glide close, hoping for a treat, While dolphins race beside, their presence so sweet. Like guardian angels, they guide my way, Ensuring safe passage, come what may.

Above, the heavens stretch, an endless blue, With clouds so fluffy, a dream-like view. No engine’s hum, no noise to break the spell, Just wind in the sails, where my heart can dwell.

In this serene moment, my mind finds its ease, After a week of strife, this is my peace. The water, crystal clear, a cerulean hue, Reflects the calm I feel, so pure and true.

This is the peace I’ve sought all week long, A symphony of nature, a soothing song. In the Gulf’s embrace, I find my soul’s retreat, A sanctuary of calm, a moment so sweet.
