LIFE

Life’s a winding, twisted track,
One day soaring, next day flat.
On top of the world, where dreams unfold,
Then back to the trenches, dark and cold.

You win some battles, lose some too,
Nothing’s easy, nothing’s true.
Promises break, illusions fall,
And the surest things become the call.

Trust is fragile, like fine spun glass,
In the blink of an eye, it’s past.
Read the lines that others write,
For hidden truths lurk out of sight.

Your gut speaks truths the heart may hide,
In whispers soft, it won’t be denied.
If something’s off, if something’s wrong,
Listen close, it won’t steer you long.

For life’s a gamble, a fleeting ride,
Through highs and lows, we all must glide.
So take each day with cautious grace,
And trust your gut to set the pace.

He sought love with all his might, A flame that burned both day and night, He gave his heart, his soul, his all, Yet every time, he’d take the fall.

With trust, he laid his spirit bare, In hopes that someone truly cared, But lies and deceit wove their chain, And left him with unending pain.

They used him up, they wore him thin, A love he thought would always win, But piece by piece, they took their toll, Until he was but half a whole.

He chased a dream that couldn’t last, A future shadowed by the past, His goals, once bright, now turned to dust, For in their hands, he placed his trust.

Alone he stood, a shattered man, With broken dreams and empty plans, He gave too much, believed too deep, And now he has no more to keep.

A wasted lifetime, some would say, For love that led his heart astray, But in his scars and silent cries, Lies the tale of a heart that tried and failed.

It was when he broke that I finally 

understood what made him who he was,

he has a good heart,

No, he has a beautiful heart,

which had been tortured and burned,

because he ‘needed’ to be loved,

a bad childhood, adulterous lovers,

created the beast that he had become.

He doesn’t take shit from anyone,

and he had lost the ability to fear,

Well, he only had one fear,

and that was to be alone.

That was his weakness, that was his 

demise, his self destruction.

That bad ass man needed love

and he would destroy himself

In the process of finding it.

Open and honest communication is essential for a lasting relationship. If both partners are not willing to discuss their concerns and address them, the relationship is doomed. Lying, hiding things, and acting behind each other’s back destroys trust. Your partner should be the one person you can talk to about any issue, fear, or concern. Without this honesty, a trusting and loving long-term relationship is impossible.

If your partner has a concern or asks for clarification, it should be addressed without lying, dismissing, or refusing to discuss it. A relationship can only succeed if both sides are willing to come to the table and talk openly. Ignoring red flags or refusing to communicate shows disrespect and will only lead to further trust issues and the eventual breakdown of the relationship.
